The Jergens Standard Ball Lock Shank is the core component of Jergens' Ball Lock® quick-change tooling system, providing fast, accurate, and repeatable fixture and tooling plate changeover without precision alignment tools. The hardened shank engages the Ball Lock receiver bushing with a simple quarter-turn of the thumbscrew, locking the shank in place with a repeatable accuracy of 0.0002" or better. Ball Lock shanks are available in multiple diameter and length combinations to suit a wide range of fixture plate thicknesses and tooling applications.
