The YG-1 Hydraulic Chuck with BT Taper is a precision hydraulic tool holder for CNC machining centers with BT taper spindles. The hydraulic chuck uses oil pressure generated by tightening a set screw to expand a thin-walled sleeve that grips the tool shank with uniform, all-around clamping force. This hydraulic clamping principle delivers superior runout accuracy (typically 3 microns or better at 3xD), excellent vibration damping, and high clamping force compared to conventional mechanical chucks, resulting in improved surface finish and extended tool life in precision milling, boring, and reaming applications.
