The Carr Lane Captive Locating Screw Assembly is a spring-loaded locating screw that retracts for workpiece loading and extends to engage a reference hole in the workpiece for accurate positioning. The captive design keeps the screw retained in the fixture when withdrawn, preventing loss during high-cycle production operations. Available in 47 size and configuration options of thread sizes and lengths (e.g. CL-4-CLSA-1.75, CL-4-CLSSHA-1.25...). Available in both inch and metric configurations.
